Unsuccessful in negotiation on COE top up with C&C. At the point now to make a decision whether to drop out of the scheme and just wait till the balance 3 remaining bid over and change to Hyundai Elantra Elite. Any View?

i thought if you drop out now the deposit will be forfeited? no? mine case is similar to yours, but i'm in no rush for the car so am able to afford the wait.

You may visit the website www.kia.com.sg or www.sgcarmart.com.sg for price list.

That's the listed price currently... want to compare the current price and the price of those who booked the non-guaranteed COE. The later data is not available anymore online I think.

streamy silver.

Apart from the paint work, are there anything in particular to be careful wihen taking over the car? Thankz in advance! :)

1. Check paintwork, especially at boot lip, and above rear number plate. Silver color very hard to see irregularities. Take your time to check.

2. Solar film workmanship.

3. Bumper alignment.

Bro it's the same. By the time at end of 6 bids, the Coe might be more ex, and u book Hyundai , again gamble and wait for another 6 bids. What for waste your time to wait and gamble when u are all set to buy a car. I personally think you should top up and get the guaranteed package and sure get Coe next coming bid. Then get it all over with, and collect new car. After all, after topping up , it's still cheaper than Hyundai. And the service of c&c after sales is quite good. I dunno about Komoco Motors.

Good choice..CSC 5 is good. How much you top up?

Mine also has a line along my spoiler..but I guiess that can be polished off over time... not too obvious

Its reflector not a light..u can bling bling it tho...lol...

I went to C&C today to look at the boot lip. They advised to re-spray and need to leave car for 2 days, I rejected. So drove up to level 2 to the polishing dept. watched them polish it & now it's better. Can say only left 10% of the adhesive stains.

Blurish & with a small pimple paintwork above rear number plate, advised to re-spray and leave car for 2 days but I rejected. It's not glaring so forget it.

Front bumper & fender alignment left side gap bigger than the other side. Again leave car 1 day to dismantle and adjust. Reject also as not glaring.

So that's all for new car defects. Enjoying new ride and waiting for 1k servicing.

By the way what tyre pressure are you guys on? Reccomend 32psi but felt sluggish and tyre sidewall sagged. Pumped up to 34psi and should be all good.

If you change to Elantra, I am quite sure that you will get your COE... Komoco doesn't have this guaranteed price business... it's just a rebate level which they set... and they will tell you what level they will bid for the COE... so you know that you should get the COE unless it spikes for whatever reason. I like this better... C&C play punk for Kia cars... but they are upfront for Citroen... I wonder why... margin issues?

I don't know if the SX with guaranteed COE is cheaper than the Elite or not. But for Komoco, usually within one bid or two bids you get your COE. Price if it's more, is just a bit more, and that's the margin you pay to get your COE at one try rather than keep waiting lor...

But topping up $6k is considered margin you pay to get Coe. I booked the guaranteed package and got it 1st bid. $6k is normal as topping up to guaranteed is $4k, and car price surged $2k, total $6k. I think don't try to save $6k and cannot get car.

I'm not re-spraying. If spray will be foc. But it's time consuming. So I gave up.

I would say not 1 or 2 bid can get the COE.  It depend on which Tier u took. There are e Tier, Tier 1 - Tier 3, Tier 1 is the highest price u got to pay which mean higher COE rebate, higher chances of getting COE within 1 to 2 bids

Now got no more tier system bro... just one price only... check the Sonata thread. I posted the price list I got for my Sonata.

If C&C has more of such customers then they also happy. Less work to do. I just went today after I left my car for 1.5 days to do my 10k servicing even though only 6.5k as I seldom drive out and also do the bumper seams respray and replacement of chrome door trim belt as they damaged it. I also managed to get my rubber seals replaced as it is cut with a pen knife when I do carbon fiber pillar so also a relief that it is a set. The respray of bumper seams seems ok but not perfect anyway not going to stare at it anyway. Perfect is to respray whole bumper which I do not see the need as there is no rock chips damage as yet.

BTW any guys here received calls from C&C about the purchase of your car?

What do you mean receive calls about the purchase of your car? Meaning, notify to make full payment? Or collect car? Or recall for servicing? Or what?
