You want me to show the touch up jobs that I did to temporary hide the damages C&C does? Ha? They ask me to drive down to see what they can do when my service due in few weeks time.

 

Dear all, not saying that the K3 has many problems but their after sales services is bugging me when damages is caused by their guys and sharing my bad experience over their quality of works but the service is overall pleasing and offer me a number of assistance. Now I dun deal with the SA now the manager comes and serves me partly maybe ex C&C staff. Service good but bad lame workmanship.

My colleague's car more worse than me. Same period take new car but respray the roof, 3 doors. Roof is the paint quality being bad and 3 doors is the wife damaged it when parking. Brand new car cannot accept any repair job not 100% same as me. :)

From your msg seems my msg is doubtful? Well not trying to prove anything but to share experience with the after sales service. If I go to the extent of taking the photo and show here. Might as well post on STOMP or the papers. :). Dun wish to go to that extent. 

 

Not possible bro. My colleague's car is repaired 1 mth + back and now looks new after they resprayed and redone PPS. Mine is repaired temporary with touch up paint and concealed the paint peel by myself after the pressure washing removed my temporary fix. Unless prove by our service records from the agent? Ha.

My system is a Rainbow beat-4 power amp and 2 sets of boston acoustics SL60 (possibly discontinued) replacement maybe the SR60

 

But the speakers produce the kind of music, I liked.

 

My office is near Junction 8, so when I went to do my VCool at Sin Ming there was this auto shop just next door, so I dropped in for a look see.

 

Initially was overwhelmed with the amount of stuff in there

 

But Ted guided me through the listening procedure lucky I was early, later the place was a bit packed with cars and ppl.

 

The shop name was AutoImage

By percentage, what's the possibility that C&C will try to get for you? I read around that parallel importers have much lower chance on getting a non-guranteed then an AD. Not sure how true is that?

Hi, chances of getting Coe for non guranteed booking is very low, looking at the current Coe trend. The bidding is only at $39,999 for non guranteed, just hoping for Coe to drop. If Coe raises, car price raises, chances even lower. They might not secure Coe for you and will ask you to top up to the current car list prices. My advise is to switch to a guranteed by topping up if you really want a K3. If not, it's like a book and hope game.

Initially I booked non guranteed end February. March 1st bid didn't get, immediately pay to switch to guranteed. Got it March 2nd bid and collecting car on coming Monday already.

That is the previous batch called as SX sports which is fully loaded with sunroof but seems to be lower in specification today. Save cost? No idea..

Would like to share my previous 4 tanks fuel consumption, 10.9km/l 10.7km/l 9.8km/l and 11.4km/l

 

Normally around 60%highway/40%city driving

Started to get better now as i would always try to get on the expressway asap unless the destination i'm going to, can only be reach by small road.

 

Do share other tips for better FC ð

Getting 510km per full tank for my last 2 topups of 42ltrs ... tt adds up to 12.14km/ltr for 50/50 highway & city

Wow that quite good FC, when i fill to full tank the dashboard display 578km before i need to pump fuel again. That should be calculated as 578km/50l i suppose, still not very ideal to me haha.

My K3 having this weird problem recently.

When stationary, it will 'shudder' once in a while.

Felt almost like the car want to engage gear and move off, but couldn't and engine want to die off...

 

Anybody else encounter this problem with your K3?

 

Mine is about 1.5yr old. Suddenly kenna this. Went to LengKee they check engine say nothing wrong.

The issue is this occurrence is very random and I can't make it happen at the workshop so they couldn't troubleshoot.

 

Wonder what could be the cause... gearbox?

Just to update you guys. The problem got so bad that I managed to stall the engine a few times.

After many trips to CnC and leaving the car there overnight. They finally found the problem.

 

It was caused by bad spark plugs. Ironically, those spark plugs were new ones that were installed during the 40k servicing.

They replaced the spark plugs and everything is good now.

Regarding K3 battery problems. My K3 battery died very suddenly after 1 yr+ of use.

 

Chatted with the mechanics at CnC and they told me that the lifespan is about there.... and quite common for the battery to suddenly 'die' without any early warning.  

 

May be a good idea to have jumper cables in the boot just in case. (and use the high Amp type)

My EX is 1 month old and done 1800 km. Consistently getting 8 litre/100km or 12.5 km per litre. 70% highway and 30% city driving. Tyre pressure 240 psi and on Goodyear F1 A2 17".

Any SLA 5800-6000 plus k3 owners do not have sport rims installed.

Heard from salemans there was an out of stock issue. but now need go back lengkee to install on weekday when my service centre is ubi and i booked on a saturday. Pending saleman reply if can bring over to ubi.

 

Changing to hella or those bm sound horn,. Do we need to remove front bumper? Or how is it installed by the shops

errr. sorry but how should the sport rim look like? 

 

 

sport rim is one whole piece. Steel rim is with the wheel cap.
