Saw one k3 dechrome it.. dechrome is better since eventually your chrome will fade someday..

Or you can get the entire grill plastidipped in black.

It's not really a dealbreaker IMO... not much use for headlights in SG as the roads are all very bright.

 

after living with LED headlights coming from halogens, I find there is a real appreciable difference... and it also makes license plates more visible on car cam.

 

And the other thing about halogen is lifespan... how many cars I see driving around with dead headlamps.... so many of the i40 taxis driving around with one or both bulbs dead

My new kia forte is giving very less mileage ...i think around 10 kms.what is the maximum mileage kia can give...and how much can it increase after the first servicing?

Need your help and advice. My car is not able to start and I believe it is battery flat.

 

Should I go back to Kia service center to check the battery and even change the battery? Or i can just do it at any workshop?

I suppose if its still under warranty, faster tell your SE or the kia svc hotline. Safer than sorry though pay abit more.

well-known workshops around ubi/kaki bukit (such as johnson stickers, wrapstyle) providing decals/car wrap services etc will be able to do it for you..

 

 

if u really want to have a completely different feel from other k3, i think u can go for the roadruns grille u have posted earlier, or opt for other grilles... there r quite a number of aftermarket grilles available.. just remember don't buy from china market because their k3 grilles do not fit k3 built in Korea..

I have my car 1 years 3months already. Car battery warranty is 1 year only. I also wonder why my car battery so fast died, but I have read other forum where mentioned this is common issue for Kia k3.

 

I think I better call the service center and check first.

Hmmm.. Interesting. Your cam given foc issit 24hours one? Or just normal one or with ext batt?

I meant the fuel consumption is low around 10kms per litle.is it going to increase after the first servicing? What are the ways to increase fuel consumption?

the mileage might improve after the first servicing and after you have change to synthetic oil. But the mileage largely depend on your drive style.

Some ppl say that new cars with many modern electronics and technology results in heavier battery use and hence shorter life span.

 

One recommendation heard was that do not use those car vacuum cleaners on battery when engine is off. That supposedly eats up your car battery life quickly

I have owned the K3 for the past 4 mths or so and quite disappointed with the F.C. The recent worse one I achieve is 9.2km/l which is very bad consider I never rev my engine beyond 3k rpm. Usually lingering around 10+. at best 11+. Meter always shows around 10+ l per 100km. My driving style is 50% highway and 50% city. Reason being I find highway travelling tend to get more rock chips consider to city driving as the speed is lower. So gave up travelling highway when going home.

 

Overall does not bother me that much as I still pump up every 2 weeks so no difference but find that it lose in F.C to my previous 10 yr old Altis. Considering I drive that more faster.

Was hoping to replace the Halogen to HID, available at KIA? any warranty issue to fix with after market's HID?

Kia does not do illegal stuffs. Only aftermarket solutions.. 

 

I looking for one to disable the video cut off when driving off.
