Just to check with those who just collected their K3.

When you do reversing your car, the rear camera will activate. Does yours have 'red-yellow-green' guidance box shown on screen?

THanks

No, it does not have the guidance box

Don't think they will change anything besides the engine oil, oil filter and maybe the oil drain plug gasket... i believe at 1000km, they may just use mineral oil again if the next service is 5000km... no experience with Kia... some bros just pay for synthetic oil, that's what i did last time... but to buy from AD, going to be expensive... you buy your own oil, they give you that frowning look and charge u some service charge to put in your own oil ?!?!? I heard...

Let them do the first few services as anything wrong with the car, they will have to replace it foc... after that, its your choice to go out and service

10K and 30K but at least do the major like 20k and 40k once a year with them just in case they find fault with the warranty issue...

C&C gave 1k for services. You can use to offset for the first 2 services at least. So first 1000, then 5000 or every 4 months.

Thanks Hybridcar! I shall see what happen when i get mine. Next week is a short week, SE said unlikely to register my car so I got to wait till month end.. just cleared the oustanding yday... no contra with old car... aiyo this month eat grass again... lol...

Anyone experience running the power cable hidden all the way for dash camera???

Just another marketing strategy for them... agree with you, they may just get more sales with the discount factored in showing a lower nett selling price...

I saw one advert, they offer 14k now if you trade in. Come to think of it, by taking the 13k, the price was quoted at list price. The 60% loan over the list price, make us pays a higher interest. Siong argh!!

The cable for my dash camera is hidden except for the small portion from the top (or ceiling) to the cameras, both front and bad. Went to a shop to have it installed for me.

Will be going for my 1000km servicing tomorrow at Ubi.

Don't know if they will make any comments... coz already changed the horn, install DVR with constant power (tapping from fuse box), change to LED lights for the map light and connect a voltmeter to check on voltage.

My SE told me as long as no wire cutting installation.. should be ok.

I think I will send in for 1000km servicing next week at Ubi as well, nearer to my office. Let me know your experience there and took how long after to finish the job. [:)]

Tried Papago just now but personally I think the stock is much better in terms of feature. Updated map is available by MfM. I guess the SLA one need to pay... The only disappointment is that the hardware doesn't support TMC even though the software does. Maybe anyone has a work around?

On the right side of the CD slot.. 'SD' is written on it. Just lift up the cover and push the micro SD card to eject it.

Did my 1,000km servicing on Friday at Ubi. First time there, make 2 rounds the compound before someone told me have to drive up to level 2 for servicing. First thing to do once u reach the reception is to key in your car reg no at the PC and it will print out a queue number for u. Go to counter, exchange some details and hand over key to the service guy. Waited at lobby.

As I've booked the express service, the servicing was rather fast. Reach C&C at about 2.44pm. Left at about 3.25pm. Didn't see the service guy after i'd handed over the key to him. Collected the key and receipt for the servicing from the receptionist instead. Thus, no chance to ask any question. Not that I've questions to ask in the first place.

Express 60mins service doesn't come with free car wash. Before I hand over the key, the service guy asked if I want to have the free car wash. I asked how long will it make the whole servicing if include the car wash? The replied "at most 2hrs". I say "no, thank you". Add in a car wash = not express 60mins service. Thus, can stretch the timing up to 2hrs!

Cost is $115.22, which was automatically offset by the $1,000 service credit under my name.

That's all I have to share for the first servicing. Next will be 10,000km later, or Apr 2015; whichever come first.

Wait till I pump another few tank of petrol & I will report on my FC. :)
