Heh heh. Just collected my car at 6.30pm today. Last thursday settled payment, today collect.Drive around using sport mode for the steering, not bad as I am used to heavy car.Going over hump was smooth. Too bad not much opportunity to check. Maybe tomorrow.

Congrats guys!!! Must be nice smelling the new leather smell:D.

So what is Car Plate#?….SKP76xx..??

Went down to pay balance payment and SE told me to stand-by collection around next Sunday:D...

Hopefully by then it will be SKP8xxx….

Meanwhile do advise what are things to look out for when doing collection? Thanks in advance! [;)]

The price went up by S$12K for EX and S$10K for SX!

I been waiting for the last few months for the price to drop to S$100,000 for SX so that I can book but looks like it so going to be a long wait.

What to do... just continue to rely on my BMW - Bus MRT Walk

They used to have two columns - the one before "smart dollars" whereby you get some discounts for trading in your car at low price for an "overtrade" of 8K then.

Now they complicate things by giving you up to 2K for your used car and up the interest rate from 2.28 to 2.6 but give you further discount (still worth it)

If you have a car to trade in to them, you can get about 13k discount.

At 110, you have other choices like Altis, Sylphy, Mz3, Subaru, to name a few.

Haha... it is not silly. My SE tell told me the payment methods (cheque) but I still thick face ask can credit cards or not (lol... of course cannot).

So down payment is by CHEQUE,

Insurance can be Credit card (6-months / 12-months 0% interest instalment available) - I think UOB/DBS/POSB.. need to check your SE

If you got not cheque service, ask your friends to help or go to bank to issue cashier order (with a fees) [thumbsup]

Thanks for your advice!! I think the best will be asking bank to issue cheque for me...

Congrats on getting your new ride! Did your SE tell you anything about updating the map for your navigation system? Is it the same as mine and what Hybridcar's (saw in an earlier page) that the updating is $100+ at some third party vendor?

Personally, I find that the user friendliness of the "eurostyle touch screen HU" can be greatly improved. Any comments?

Maybe we can wait for Hybridcar share with us.... I would like to know too. If we do so, will this affect our warranty ?

I don't think they will void your warranty. They will probably tell you they will not be responsible for function of the HU if you update it elsewhere... you need to pay to fix if there's a problem... simple but effective disclaimer...
