On the other hand, I'm doing my Ang Mo boss's job, while he enjoy his ex-pat package, work 4 days a week and mostly on the web looking for places to have fun with his family during office hours -_-

 

Go find your boss's boss lor. Ask for pay rise + promotion to be above your boss. [laugh] [laugh]

I also hope so too, bec my lau peh only can drive taxi and if this also open to foreigners (pink or watever IC) then really we all jialat liao.. no more point to be singaporean when our own home we also cannot survive...

 

This not stir s--t about nationality, but is the hard truth of our own family survival in this ever more foreigner land.... [bigcry]

When the time comes when we have serious shortage of people driving our taxi or nobody wants to become taxi driver, then trust me next time they will surely open to foreigners as taxi driver. The most valid reason they always give is, we need foreigners to do those job that no one wants to do. [rolleyes]

I always all along tot that taxi driving is the last resort for our livelihood if all else cannot get.. If this open up to foreigners, then our own lau peh Jia lat liao... No where else to turn to eat rice.. Till then we hv really lost our own home le... Now must make noise n not get sucked into unverifiable lies that these r jobs that no Singapore an wants.. Who dun wan to live in ur own homeland?

He's a singaporean citizen. Welcome to the country.

He's not stealing your job.

If he's happy with the job and the salary, then no problem. But likely he going to be dissatisfied after a while. The bus driver job here is unlike in western countries where they are recognised professionals with union protection. He is qualified, juz his paper not recognised.

Go to 681, hougang ave. 4. There is Ah Teck durian stall. In the evening, there is an ang mo helping him out at the stall. He also runs Durian AngMo, which he colloborate with ah teck for online ordering. We ate there yesterday, and he knowledge of the different cultivars iz better than most Singaporean.

Big ass trailer King Kong class A

Big ass sand lorry class b

Bus

Taxi

Uber

Drive crane, pay quite high as it's specialised and in demand.

 

Drive aeroplane, also high pay [laugh]
