My bad, its " innocent" Aka sb KL face

Whole bloody hands tattooed [rolleyes]

Oh then I think he already marked cos of his appearence. If he dun behave, sure kenna special treatment. [whip]

Some inmates all tattoos all over think ty r big time terrors. Most their brains as small as a birds.

I tell u on the inside the inmates who r the chiefs mostly look like simple innocent bizmen. But their brains very good.

Those tattooed idiots end up washing the underwear n clothes n giving their good food to the innocent looking leaders. These r the real headmen inside. [pirate]

can someone enlighten me as to why the coroner's inquiry was stopped or halted? the coroner is supposed to investigate how someone died. once that is determined, then decide whether to proceed with criminal prosecution.

now like prosecute 1st, without a proper investigation of how the guy died (by showing how he was restrained, what position he was lying, how he suffocated etc).

Certain things r best left alone. Ty already got a scapegoat to take the blame. [lipsrsealed]

If go further wil open up a whole new can of worms. [:/]

if the procedure is appropiate and necassary, then why should the senior prison officer be charged?

oh well. nothing to do with me, just found it a pity that the guy was charged for doing his job.

Procedures, like in any other working env, is not a complete fool-proof.

That is why they have a supervisor there to ensure procedures are being followed and to take necessary actions if situation did not go according to plan.

Family of dead Changi inmate asks for review of decision not to re-open coroner's inquiry

Published on Sep 04, 2013

By Ian Poh

The family of the inmate who died in prison in 2010 are appealing against the Coroner's decision not to re-open an inquiry into their son's death.

In a statement released on Wednesday, through their lawyer M. Ravi of LF Violet Netto, the family of the late Dinesh Raman Chinnaiah said a hearing date had been set on Oct 16 for judicial review of the coroner's decision last month.

A judicial review is a process where a state administrative decision is relooked by the courts. Last month, the Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) said that the inquiry into the inmate's death would not be reopened. A spokesman had said that the state coroner was exercising his discretion not to resume the inquiry because the cause of and circumstances connected to the death of had been placed before the court in criminal proceedings against senior prison officer Lim Kwo Yin, 36, last month.

The inquiry was discontinued after Lim pleaded guilty, and was fined $10,000 for causing death by negligence. At the time, the court heard that Dinesh, who was convicted of rioting and theft, kicked a warden in his abdomen in an unprovoked attack on Sept 27, 2010. It took eight officers - including Lim, who was the supervising officer - half an hour to restrain him. Dinesh was eventually put on the ground with his head to the side, in an isolation cell. He was left in the prone position thereby restricting the respiratory movements of his chest and abdomen.

i pity the officers...

some prisoners are just hopeless

majority are repeat offenders who are not afraid to be in there.....

hopeless in your eyes or repeated offenders doesn't mean they deserve to die

the family has every right to address their grievance

I also have so many questions in my mind. Seems obvious to me there are so many holes in the history that they don't intend to address. Haiz. Cover up also no skillz.
