As above, boleh?

Etiqa offered me the lowest premium at $1933.30 and excess at $350, followed by DirectAsia.com at $2126.64 with excess at $600 and lastly SHC Insurance at $2263.32 with excess at $500. I'll be taking over a 2005 Chevrolet Optra 1.6A as its 4th owner, OMV about $13k. I'm 27, married with 1 kid, never claim (or kanna claimed) before, NCD 0%.

The car is in mostly stock condition, although I'm not sure if its rims are original or aftermarket. My concern is that I will likely be changing the headlights to HID, as well as installing a pair of fog lights and changing the horn to sound that of marques from European/American companies. I understand these are not LTA-legal but please don't flame me, I just hope that these wouldn't be any issues when it comes to claims.

Please share your experiences with Etiqa mainly, because I think I should be going for the cheapest deal but would like to know more as to what I'm signing up for with Etiqa. Google did not unravel much information about this insurance company.

Any valuable inputs would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Benson Wong

Etiqa is ok. Beside premium, you should compare the excess too.

Had a look, premiums not bad with the promotion discount.

List of workshops looks OK to me too.
