Surveillance Camera at AMK Ave 10 Blk 448

Happen to see this camera at the rear of Blk 448 facing the open car park.

 

Not sure what it is for, but according to a resident, it is use to capture license plate numbers of illegal parked vehicles.

Yes it's for illegal parking enforcement.

there are not many space for illegal parking IMHO, only 1 small square near to the camera for 1 vehicle.

not sure if it is also used to capture those vehicles who park in season parking only lots.

 

notice there are 2 lens, so should be equipped with night vision mode

This is to capture those who park illegally by the road side.

the situation in that car park especially on weekend mornings is very bad. plenty of drivers double parking and obstructing the driveway while waiting
