Have most of the owners migrated out to another closed site?

 

I am looking for one of these models that are left with 1 to 2 years.

 

Does anyone have inputs on level of maintenance/repair to 8 to 9 years old cars?

I have an anecdotal account of a Peugeot hatch owner whose car had zero significant problems for its ten years. Problem is the account-giver wasn't the actual owner, so they weren't entirely sure what model it was exactly, but most likely a 307.

I would say, if lady luck is on your side, you can just normal maintenance and drive till scrao.

 

But if u have normal lucky.... well... anything can go wrong

Hi,

 

My wife owns the 2013 207 1.6L. I do drive it from time to time.

 

I find it has a good pick-up with good FC (12-13km/L). Pretty much a no-frills car. Very basic dashboard too. Its a nice car to have on the cheap, easy to drive and move around in.

 

No complaint whatsoever so far.

I drove the 206 manual in France in 2002 for a week. Though it was left hand drive, within the first day I was able to manoeuvre around with ease. The rental car was pretty new then. So, it is pleasing to the ears to hear it probably is not that problematic with a 8-9 year old car.

Advisable to buy direct from owner, if you can.

 

The pug has excellent road holding for its Class.

 

You can service it at Thomas and Partners, at a fraction of the price at C&C and Auto France . They are specialised in Citroen and Peugeot vehicles.

Just booked my Peugeot 208 this afternoon. The test drive was fine overall, quiet and good handling. Good acceleration from start till 60km, beyond that needs to hit accelerator harder for turbo to kick in, this is probably due to car in cruising speed for fuel saving. Hopefully to get the COE on first bidding..
