Zenithpool 2nd Gear July 16, 2013 Share July 16, 2013 need to make purchase then can withdraw cash, I can understand. If not can imagine everyone just go in and want to withdraw cash. The only think I cant accept for 7eleven is the $0.50cents admin charges for top up of cash card. if you top up $100 or $200, no pain. But $50, $20, or for biker that usually top up $10, its quite a lot. $0.20 - 0.30 should be more acceptable imho

Jman888 Moderator July 16, 2013 Share July 16, 2013 HSBC has the same arrangement with Cold Storage at their check out cashier count, hence you have to make purchase to use the service.
Jman888 Moderator July 16, 2013 Share July 16, 2013 I rather 7-11 stop doing all this tie-up, you want to buy something yet everybody in front of you are paying phone and utilities bill, etc. really quite pissed.
ChickenMob 6th Gear July 16, 2013 Share July 16, 2013 Get ready for longer Qs now there, these paying bills and withdrawn scheme are gonna take more time needed. those buying one packet of drinks or sweets sure piss off.

Sp4wn Turbocharged July 16, 2013 Share July 16, 2013 same thing in the states lo called cash back. go to any place buy say $55 of stuff - cashier will ask if you want cash back ... if you want $45 then she just charge $100 to your card lo. its quite smart because the company gets to move the physical cash off the property ^^ (7-11 likes to say they have very little money after midnight, and this helps them mitigate the risk of keeping cash)

They may be using the NETs machine to get connected to DBS. Actually, using NETs machine, you can also check your balance in your bank account. Myxilplix Turbocharged July 16, 2013 Share July 16, 2013 Does that mean now 7-11 gonna have more cash on hand at night in order to dispense it out? I'm sure thieves will be interested to find out...
Leezld 1st Gear July 16, 2013 Share July 16, 2013 Mustafa shopping centre has this scheme as well. Quite useful if you're buying something there and need to get some cash for purchases elsewhere.
