Hi Just saw your posting. Am looking at this model also. I like beetle. Base on your remarks, does that means that this is not a good car?

 

I saw some Parf and COE beetles available. Not too sure if it is worth to get the COE beetle as the price is lower than the Parf car. Not to mention that the life span of the COE left above 5 years for Parf vs the 8 years bal COE beetle.

 

Any comments?

Maybe you should look for the newer model with the 6 speed gearbox instead of the 4 speed one.

I never know that beetles is meant for girl. I saw guys drove beetles, quite stylo too. LOL....

 

Well I dont think I can afford a mini. But if a coe beetle seems quite ok.

 

In fact I am comparing if I should get a parf car that left about 5 years or look at this coe beetle that left with 8 years at a lower price.

 

Gender aside, but is it even worth to get a coe beetle with 8 years bal since parf cars are of higher price.

No problem with the Beetle as it is a very good car.

Just that the 6 speed gearbox is better in term of lowering down a little of your fuel consumption and also in term of noise level produced from the engine when you're travelling >120km/h.

Example when travelling at 100km. A 4 speed gearbox gives you an estimated 3000RPM while 6 speed one around 2400RPM.
