I wonder how many kids these days will learn of him and give him credit for coming with MRT instead the the familee... I am not sure if all these will be taught as part of history of Singapore to the next generation.

2BDriver Hypersonic July 20, 2013 Share July 20, 2013 (edited) All these is because of one word - PAP. Nothing to do with brainwashing. Who dare question their authority. They say can mean can. They say cannot mean cannot. They can question opposition's integrity but don't you, me or anyone question them about integrity. Without proof will receive lawyer letter Bro Vid, What you'd mentioned are exactly tally with the last line, frankly I've been brain washed by MIW in the last 48 years, so much so that I'm scares and nervous during every General Election because I'm too worried it may ends up Freak Result. Painstakingly persuading all my ex-army/school mates, colleagues, friends and relatives to mark a big X in the opposition box. We must forever remember to give a big Dick for the PAP Edited July 20, 2013 by Fongmy
Passat57 3rd Gear July 20, 2013 Share July 20, 2013 Another disgruntled Singaporean penning this letter to PM. Dear PM Lee, Did You Lie to Parliament? http://www.tremeritus.com/2013/07/15/dear-...-to-parliament/ Dear PM, Since we're in this super-high morality mode of "high integrity", I thought I'd take this opportunity to ask you to clarify a few similar lies I've heard from the PAP. First of all, can you please clarify if you slapped Dhanabalan sometime around 1990? Then why did Tony Tan, Yeo Ning Hong and Dhanabalan threaten to resign in succession? Vivian cited internal notes as his evidence of guilt or innocence
2BDriver Hypersonic July 21, 2013 Share July 21, 2013 (edited) You want to add the rumours about the famous Bukit Ho Swee fire in the 1960s? Bro Passat57, Good Morning. I guess you're way above 56yrs old and went through sg.riots, chaos and curfews, seen MIW cried in black white TV too, I'd saw news of the huge fire burning down bukit ho swee estate but have no idea about the rumours, would you care to share ? Jasonvios 1st Gear July 21, 2013 Share July 21, 2013 i am really puzzled, there are so many questions to the ruling parties policies and dealing, yet no straight answers given, yet more than 60% of the population still believes and have complete faith in them, mind you not just over the last 5 years but over the last 50years or so, why?, does anybody has any answer?, do you really expect billionaires in the world to understand or feel what it is like to be short of just 10cents to take a bus trip home, our ministers are all million dollar salary people while the general work is paid less than $1200 per month and cleaners majority only $800-900 per month, how to serve the people, i think we seriously need to revamp our country's political system ang governance, the question is how? To be fair, the 1st generation of leaders did well for the people, things was still not too bad under lao goh, the prince really can't make it, maybe he want to leave a legacy being the fastest growing GDP PM of all time. You will be surprise that most of the lower income group and less educated voted for MIW. To change our political landscape, we need more people like LTK who is sincere and care for the less fortunate (My mom told me he recently arranged a 5 day all paid wake for one of the resident in hougang). In the last few elections, the loyalty and support for LTK were not shaken despite the millions carrot throw at them.
Yewheng Twincharged July 21, 2013 Share July 21, 2013 (edited) Come to think of it, the haze problem happened 1 month ago actually divert attention away. But MEWM go key kiang bring up this issue again and talk about integrity. He himself also have no good past I.e the YOG, and he still want to argue about it. That is he dig his own grave and go in deeper into the hole. LTK already mention lets move on and hinting to MEWM that lets settle internally and not bring such small issue to parliament to talk about it, but he just don't get it. Sigh. Last week's Sunday Times had an article that mention that Bukit Ho Swee fire, and the rumors. The Historian was denied to see the documents in the relevant departments to verify. By the way, I am still below 56 years old, but heard of that when I was young. Edited July 21, 2013 by Passat57

Maseratigood 5th Gear July 21, 2013 Share July 21, 2013 It's ok. Now with this new info that makes it look like the incumbent has slipped up, plus the fact that the incumbent's supporters are involved, I expect that this matter will be quickly (and conveniently) forgotten and will not be mentioned in the mainstream press anymore. Time to "Let's Move On"

Every human has its flaws, but I hope they realise what their flaws is and act on it. SG do not want to see, because of the flaws that could cause potential downside of Singapore. *Flaws can be anything, like bad temper, talk behind people back, high IQ but low EQ and the list goes on.
