I am surprised PAP is persistent to want to engage in such low level of exchange.

 

a dossier is just a personal notes, why do they expect WP to even come and prove something that is written from a personal perspective. why is it assumed that the interpretation of the person writing the dossier is considered correct and error+bias free?

 

in any case, WP already admitted miscommunication which is already good enough and gracious considering that the communication involving so many parties, could have gone wrong due to parties even not even in WP's control. if wp has to respond to such a challenge, it is almost like responding to petty squabble and nitpicking.

 

it is also hitting below the belt to bring something unrelated like pritam singh's speech and something quite loosely related like WP's appointment of FMSS as management to the town councils to the argument. isn't the pap's appointment of personnels (loyal to Pap) in key associations like Hawkers Associaton , PA or awarding of the software tender to AIM a more questionable practice?

for vivian as NEA minister lost of stuff on table to debate on. shouldn't the MPs have questions for him on the recent haze and lesson learnt? Dengue, anything NEA has to address? or he think is swee swee liao?.

It was declare emergency right? So how's the response team, everybody happy with things goes? Mask distribution adequate? can improve?, confusion over PSI reading. there are many netizen don't even use the NEA website to monitor the PSI reading. He can also brag if he thinks it's was a success.

Personally i'd rather to go for Option 2. Grab the bull by the horns, be proactive, kena pluck if necessary then move on to solving the problem. Skulking around just delays the problem and solution.

Normally for the top is shoot people 1st.

 

Don't want not go into what details NEA minister should or should not, coz I get blur. But the point is there are matters of national interest to debate on, then escalation a hawker centre issue to national level. Not that he doesn't have anything else to talk.

imho, getting a External Auditor doesnt really ensure anything as we know auditor are only auditing base on policy.

 

However, the one i highlight in red is more important. there is tender to 3 companies. and only 1 reply.

As a matter of fact, the existing MA of Aljunied TC resigned after WP won the GRC citing 'conflict of interests". That MA also runs AMK GRC.

 

So what 'conflict of interests' are they talking about? Is it due to the fact that all are run by people with PAP connection and running an opposition GRC comes into conflict? Or is it due to the fear of jeopardizing their future contract with PAP TCs? Only they know but surely it not the fault of WP is other PAP affiliated MA don't want to submit the tender.

its more than fair to him............. his duty is to follow the progress made by foreign ministry with indo side regarding burning, and be prepared for the likely scenario eg more burnings as not much progress has been made between MFA and indo side till lately so that when haze came recently, the people could have had enough protections (masks) to go around in a timely manner... has he fulfilled his duty ??
