u all will write down the amount they give on the name list.some will give more or less...

 

will u all b angry if they give less than market rate?

 

I ask b4, they say record down is if nex time they get married, u give same amount..but if aredy married, give wat..haha

I really don't understand all these mentality.

 

A marriage is a happy bonding event with friends and relatives. It is not suppose to be a mercenary event.

 

People should conduct a wedding with the mentality of giving. if they get back more than they give, that's a bonus. If not, it's fine.....

The recording is to make sure that if you are invited to their wedding dinner (again), you must NOT pao less than what they gave you last time. This is my understanding, NOT to pao back the same amount lah.

Nope, don't think so. It's more for recorder's face. You cannot give lesser than what he/she pao.

Really? But I give friends, usually never write name on the ang pao or anything, just give according to how close I am to the friend, and how much I can afford. Which is what the ang pao should be for, IMHO, not for the couple to earn back from everyone.
