Tyre pressure should be based on tyre or car?

There's a label that u might be able to find at the door area which states the recommended pressure for your car, I don't follow 100%

Plus a little should be ok too

Anyone uses the Shell Stations' new tyre pump stations with retractable air hose?

I used it 3-4 times in total since they are launched, for the life of me can never get the hang of how to stop the reel from rewinding while I am pumping the tires. My only solution is to step on one section to hold it down while I use the free end to top  the air of my tires.

Cannot find any catch or latch to stop the rachet from rewinding.

Neutral Newbie

Always hated standing in line to get tyres pumped up. Life has been easy since I bought by own compressor.

Same here, lagi worse when trying to pump bicycle tyre [:|] as bicycle tyre more wobbly and one hand have to hold the bike at times

Guys.. Is it really necessary to do it weekly?

I only check around once or monthly, sometimes two months.

No significant loss.. maybe the only loss is the time I connect the valves with this pssst sound?

Perhaps driving long distances daily affects it?

Nah ... weekly is too ks.

Once every 1 - 2 months is more than adequate.

Weekly is overkill. I keep track of when I pump air, once I forgot to pump for 2 months, pressure had dropped from 35PSI to 28PSI which was quite a big difference. I would think once every 4-5 weeks is about right for me.

I used to think TPMS is useless... but ever since I installed a Orange brand TPMS I feel it's really good to have. No longer have to Guess if pressure is Low and no monthly visit just to pump air

Got notch? I only see rollers X 3 sides where the hose exit the reel. Will go scrutinize it again next time... heck, am starting to think I should just go to Esso station next door to do my pumping instead.
