PSP415 Supersonic July 2, 2013 Share July 2, 2013 It was mentioned that the mum can't bend her knees, so taxi or car not suitable. The poor lady needs a stretcher/bed, wheelchair fail. The charges are far from reasonable....and one had better exercise prudence to ask for cost of any add-ons or medical services. These operators are businesses for profits, sure to look for unsuspecting carrots. Safe ride.... take good care of health. Cheers

Bystander50 5th Gear July 2, 2013 Share July 2, 2013 Isn't this galling ?! Look at the bill, $200 for pain killers ?! what kind of rip off is this ? someone has to check on these ambulance operators, preying on the sick is most appalling. Monkey see monkey do. Hospitals who are supposed to save lives are equally guity of jacking up medicine prices. I recall seeing a hospital charging $30 for a box of panadol. Relagsingh 4th Gear July 2, 2013 Share July 2, 2013 Actually, the NEAS, or whatever authority in charge of regulating the ambulance companies, should have set the guidelines for pricing as well, else they can always collude and monopolise the price. after all, this is one trade which has a high entry barrier. the authorities really should have forsight and initiative in this , rather than wait for the poor to be exploited for some time already. i wonder how many people have een victimised in silence already. Shame on the NEAS !! Agreed. No regulation whatsoever. Want us not to call 995 but allowed then to rob ppl. So after everybody see this how? All whack 995! Everything will just turn out worse!
