Sterling is dam lightweight. ok lah, frankly i thought he was isolated way too often on the Right with no support. So it makes him look particularly bad. Happened to JH last game also.

Sterling more for front 3, not middle 3. He needs less defensive duties n also support fm RB. Henderson showed what he is made of if he gets to play in the centre. Thats his natural position. I think he can pass...jus need time after having played out of position for so long. My choice for centre 2 hv to b lucas n henderson.

i think with the abundance in CBs, and the need to play DS and LS up front means we have to play 3 CBs, 2 WBs, 3 in the middle of the park, and 2 up front.

Playing Sterling as WB or RM with no FB to support him is just going to expose him, yes he din play well, but i think the system we are playing means he will struggle, wonder when will Martin Kelly be back... he is more suitable for the role... GJ is still undisputed no 1 RB / RWB

with PC and JA unavailable, wonder who fm the middle 3 will be sacrificed...

SG wise is BR ball issue, unlikely he have that ball.

Lucas??? the fact remain that Lucas is the only DM we have that can constantly play at a consistent level even if he have 1 or 2 off game. his absence for nearly a year show us that.

So Sadly, the one been sacrificed will be JH.

Chelsea slowly edging up position ...... [sly]

Southampton is the surprise of all, at 4th position ....

Wonder how long will they stay there. Next match against Liverpool at Anfield.

wif a considerably easier fixture to start, i worry when pool needs to meet the heavyweight teams. newcastle not gonna b easy. n then WBA, which i tink is also a potential slip up. they managed to hold ars to a draw last night. ars is next, n i don see pool winning with ars rich form.

either the injured players need to recover soon, or the rest needs to get really used to the new formation. even if johnson is back, they can still stick to 3-5-2. stronger when defending, stronger when attacking. for now, putting sterling or henderson as WB is not gonna work.

haha no disrespect but i'm just thinking we have a "easy" start to the season. Only one big 4 team so far.

Of course we know LFC can easily fall flat on their face. Especially if BR starts talking a lot of crap.

Newcastle is doing pretty well considering their lack of recruitment in the summer. Only one loan signing who's scoring for them.

Asernal also lah.

Actually all the big team only face each other once this season except for Man U.

that's why the "demise" of man U is just frankly a load of bull. a good run of results against the weaker teams will get their confidence back up.

Arsenal last night was also as unsteady as us. If WBA had a better striker than a out of sorts anelka, it would have been game over. he missed 2 excellent opportunities.

No one is showing any defensive solidness this year, haha all leaking goals from poor defending.

newcastle, WBA, Arse the next 3 games...

for fans who think fixtures we had are easy, i think we forget that we always struggle against small teams whom we are suppose to beat.
