And also if the price of PI and AD is  less than 10K SGD, would it be wise to go with the AD?

Note both sellers do not provide/include servicing. You need to pay your own quarterly servicing.

PI Mercs are usually cheaper because their spec is crap. But sometimes PI is cheaper with similar/better spec. Make sure you compare closely.

 

Also, with C&C, you can usually negotiate service credit which can be considered free servicing.

Car from PI

CLA180 with full AMG kit and rims, plus sunroof. But car looks abit used (likely from test drives).

They quote 156K and will throw in reverse camera.

Warranty by some 3rd party for 5 years.

No free service credit.

 

Car from AD

CLA180 add-on AMG kit and rims but NO sunroof. Car must indent.

Quoted 164K after taking away 3K service credit and overtrade of 5K and 1.2K of insurance

Warranty by AD for 3 years.

 

Which is a better deal?

Based on base spec + AMG line, it cost EUR 36k (including VAT) in Germany.  Are you sure there is no catch from PI?

Doesn't sound abnormal for C&C Mercedes. I was told to expect similar costs back when I was inquiring about the Shooting Brake and C200.

What do you mean by quarterly servicing?

 

there is 3 kind of servicing, 

 

Every 1 year/15k - $300+

Every  2 years/30k - $800+

Every 3 years/60k - i not sure.

 

My car is currently 1 year, did my 1st service. if i am not wrong, the $3k service credit can cover at least 3 years.

Bro,

 

Dun get the sunroof. it looks nice but imo not very good for everyday usage. when the sunroof/moonroof is closed, it is only covered by 1 cloth. imagine sunlight/heat will still come into your car after you close everything. it will be hot and you can kinda see thru the "cloth". it is not that kind of hard or solid cover.
