I missed 2 groupons.. One was a polish deal and the other was for hair coloring.. Try to send an email to their customer service.. I was refunded for both deals.. But you must state some valid reasons for missing it la..

you either get refund from groupon or ask the vendor/merchant if they still allow for redemption.

By right, they are supposed to refund you the amount you paid for the deal, but once the deal period is over, they do not need to honour the Groupon itself. So, you'd miss out on the deal, but the amount that you paid for the deal, you're supposed to get back if you didn't collect on the deal.

I once had a deal.com.sg voucher that expired. Emailed their CS for a refund and their ignored me

i am trying the second option first ... still hope for the deal instead ... bought too many vouchers until mix up the dates.

Ask the vendor always easier than those advertising company.
