Shorty Turbocharged August 23, 2017 Share August 23, 2017 ok lah better bring more for standby, nowadays i control my budget by not using credit card overseas, only the amount i bring. but then any extra will be spent in last minutes shopping, my last trip to vietnam i only left with enough local currency for one set meal at the airport for 2 to share yeah....i prefer to pay cash than to use credit card. exchange rate may make it not worth it. but also don want to end up with xtra cash that i wont hv any use for once the trip is over. Food will take the bulk of our spending. For me, HK$150 per pax per day, breakfast + lunch + dinner + one serving of fruits from night market or supermarket.
