Where to learn Cantonese

Does anyone know of any schools/centers here where I can learn Cantonese? Will be travelling to HK very often for work from next year onwards and it will be a requirement.

2) Once you clock 1000 hours of the above, buy yourself a one-way tkt to HK with 10 bucks in your pocket. Your mission is to gather enough money to buy your way back to SG.

1. Go JB watch 10 HK movies.

 

2. Stay with a Hongkie for 3 months, speak nothing but cantonese with him.

Many Hongkongers know English and most know some Mandarin.

 

But of course, since in your case a good command of the language is a requirement for your job, the best way will be to

Nothing beats a long-haired book that you can study in detail, flip every page and pore through every sentence.

My wife is cantonese. But using Soft and elegant............... [shakehead]

 

My previous neighbor was cantonese too. Every family member return home, dont press doorbell or knock one or bring key one. Just shout at the door, "kui meng"!!! Me not cantonese but these two words stuck to my head. [shakehead]

 

 

So my conculsion, cantonese ppl are loud!!!
