Evillusion Supersonic August 9, 2013 Share August 9, 2013 (edited) When the devil promotes paradise for a certain sum of dollars a month to spend yout time in paradise sounds better than Satans's offer of xxx dollars/month for the same benefits and privileges many will be taken in but they forget that they will end up in the same place and that is 'hell'. So which the better of the 2? The Devil or Satan? Edited August 9, 2013 by Eviilusion ↡ Advertisement
Mustank Hypersonic August 12, 2013 Share August 12, 2013 http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singap...not/774530.html Communications and Information Minister Yaacob Ibrahim has said the cross-carriage measure is not intended at lowering the cost of pay TV subscriptions. SINGAPORE: Communications and Information Minister Yaacob Ibrahim has said the cross-carriage measure is not intended at lowering the cost of pay TV subscriptions. Dr Yaacob was responding to a question in Parliament by MP for Chua Chu Kang GRC, Zaqy Mohamad, who wanted to know the impact on consumers as a result of the sharing of the Barclays Premier League (BPL) content. In a written reply, Dr Yaacob said in any competitive market, prices will be determined by market forces. It will be unrealistic to expect the cost of premium sports content to remain unchanged when they continue to grow in appeal. He noted that the cost of acquiring premium sports content and BPL content is on an upward trend. However, Dr Yaacob said further moderation in sports content prices in Singapore will come about once pay TV providers and sports content owners realise that beyond a certain price level, they stand to lose more consumers. This is because consumers will switch to alternative sport franchises or access platforms. The Media Development Authority (MDA) has been closely monitoring the implementation process of the cross-carriage measure. Dr Yaacob said MDA will ensure there is no discrimination in the customer service arrangements and viewing experience for subscribers on either platform. Alim 1st Gear August 15, 2013 Share August 15, 2013 Starhub up the ante! $600 rebate at $30 per month so for 20 months we can enjoy $30 off per month. This make watching BPL effective $29.90 per month for 20 months. Should we sign up now or wait for the real bro Singtel to counter offer? Brilliant move by Starhub, makes Singtel look really bad. One increase price, one give rebate. Starhub SingTel
Fivegear Clutched August 15, 2013 Share August 15, 2013 Don't really understand the fuss about the recent cross carriage spat and as a result fans on both sides having to pay so much to watch. Do not get me wrong I have been a die hard fan of football since 25 years back and I still love the sport. But unfortunately for the kind of price to watch it is really paying through the nose. The footballers are well overpaid and the money that you are paying in the subscription fee goes into it. Why have a 'suckers' stamp on the forehead? But of cos i know it is willing buyer willing seller.
