MIO TV content Oh wait...there are people who subscribe to Mio for the other channels? Sorry, that's not me! I only watch two channels on Mio - 102 and whatever channel Fox Sports (formally ESPN) is now...

Galantspeedz Turbocharged July 29, 2013 Share July 29, 2013 does starhub receive the feed from singtel via satellite direct or what? or else it's potaetoe vs potahto my guess is... the problem lies with the feed to the mio setup box thus if it is going thru starhub box, there should not be a problem... i guess only hor.... but for starhub to make an sentence... i think it is quite clear..... Tarmac 3rd Gear July 29, 2013 Share July 29, 2013 The FAQs posted on Starhub gave an anti-climax. Was hoping to benefit as an existing Starhub TV subscriber. How about Starhub paying an agreed sum to SingTel in order to "repackage" its offers? How would an ISP sell Internet bandwidth to others for resale, e.g. M1, Pacific Net (gone?). Surely, the matter should be resolved among the companies and be transparent to consumers. Re-sellers do not say that ISP will bill you directly? Maxus-MIFA9 Supersonic July 29, 2013 Author Share July 29, 2013 No sure what SingTel is doing but I'm still in blurr states ... Never states clearly on the package .... There are 2 prices, those on $34+/- (current subscribers) continue with paying $59+/- or just for sports, have to add in $64.90 plus other which one subscribes (sport $64.90 + normal $32 + box = to almost $100/-+ per month) .... There is legal streaming site like http://www.en.aljazeerasport.tv/ who own the EPL right for Gulf countries. you just need a VPN account to pretend to be some arab people. cost USD$50-85 per year Plus, you can see SAF as a host if you miss him http://www.panarabiaenquirer.com/wordpress...eague-coverage/ Edited July 29, 2013 by Somewhat1975

If you are current subscriber, the $34 will continue but less EPL and some other channel come 17 Aug. you can replace the $34 package with the $64.90 package (2 year contract) and you will get to watch EPL, CL, Europa, Seria A, Spanish and almost another 80 channels. If your broadband is also bundled with mio tv, then you get further discount of $20 per month for the 2 year contract.

My understanding is that those on contract ie paying $34+ will remain till your contarct runs out so no need to pay more and you get to watch as per normal. Of course wehn the contract does expire, you will be subjected to the prevailing price then. So, I don' think it's $34+ less EPL channel.

Maxus-MIFA9 Supersonic July 29, 2013 Author Share July 29, 2013 (edited) where to get this info? ...tried looking thru their website but couldnt find anything. I had checked with the MIO counter at HDB Hub last Sat about the prices and was told to wait for 1st August 2013 (which is this Thursday). All current subscribers will receive a 'love letter' from Singtel .. The confusion are what reported in press and nothing was confirm and that's why I very blurr about the pricing ....
