Rim Centre Cap Dropped Off

This evening I discovered my rim centre cap gone missing. 2nd time this happened in a month. I was thinking who stole it and started to worry about potential sabotage.

 

Then after I drove home, I discovered another of the cap dropped off during the journey back. Then I realized it actually came off while driving n not stolen.

 

OMG!! Does this happen to other bros or sis here? Why I so suay... Didn't even drive or corner hard lo...

It is new for me. But i know that it will perform well as you like...

Rim is the main component of tyre and give proper grip on road while on fast driving.

Rim cap might be lose or cannot tight correctly. Use equipments for tights...

It's stock rim.

 

Yea first time oso lo. My previous ride oso no such thing happen before.

 

I tell my friends and it became more like a joke.

 

From something really annoying become something I also want to laugh at.

It's the stock scirocco interlagos rims. I replaced the first one after it came off. Cost $15 lo. Tot was just one off so I wanted to just pay and move on.

 

Now 2nd and 3rd also came off... faintz..

by the way did you do any thing to the wheel or tyre recently ?

if yes maybe the cover became loose after remove and recover.

If the shop can apply little gum there will be good for you.

most center cap are made of plastic ,but the material will make the diff of the cap grip.

Never done anything to the wheel after collecting the car. Prior to that, how many times the mechanics take it out and put it back in is anyone's guess le.

 

Initially I tot got to use screw driver or something to get it out. Didn't know so easily can come off one.

haha yea ... really is anything can go wrong lo, not just the gear box..

 

previously my honda one is oso not screw on, but no such things happen lo.
