Scali never put handbrake then the car roll to the front hit another car! I think the handbrake was on cuz it wasn't rolling easily and stopped immediately when I stopped accelerating. Dunno will spoil his gearbox or not since it was in park also. Anyway you can try with your own car. Even with the handbrake pulled up it is not that hard to drive off. Just have to step harder on the accelerator only. ↡ Advertisement

Kiadaw 6th Gear June 7, 2013 Share June 7, 2013 What I cannot digest is why on the news, the newscaster keep referring to the women as pretty women. Normally, for professional newscaster, one should not descript if the person is fat, pretty, short, certain ethnical group, etc unless the context of the news require these. But this may be Taiwan, we are talking about, so different rules applied.

Doesn't make sense that a pillow can avoid causing dent, no matter how slow she reversed her car. You have a force, reaction force, and the bumper surface strength (or strength of its attachments). If she slowly, gently reverses her car, it does not matter whether she puts a pillow there or not. The impulsive force will be minimized already anyway. All boils down to whether the bumper strength can withstand the force applied to it (which depends much on whether the rear car had its handbrake properly applied). With the handbrake properly applied, the reversing car will have to apply a huge force to get the rear car moving... and that force could be enough to cause a dent, regardless whether there is a pillow or not. Even without pillow, almost all bumper have no issue in such circumstances. As long as the speed is like nudging speed. That how pple park and drive in many parts in Europe. You mean to say they aren't professional? There is no such thing as purely descriptive news, nor objective journalism. Every journalist is well-informed about the topic they cover and it is impossible for them not to have an opinion about it. This often manifests itself in the choice of words used and slant of the article. Unless one writes for a publication like the Straits Times, in which case they will write to suit the status quo of the publication. That's why the nickname "Braddell Brothel".
