In SG, there are alot of stressful people. Partly due to our pressure cooker lifestyle so any trigger and you'll explode.

 

Whilst this is not an excuse to flare up and is definitely not condoned, I notice alot of Singaporeans are like that compared to our Western counterparts who are more relaxed. So still want to become no. 1 economy, no. 1 airport, no. 1 port, no. 1 productivity etc? The price to pay for our economic success IMO.

 

Westerners slower in everything they do but more balanced lifestyle I feel.

No choice us peasants have to make do with it!

I would say this kind of things happen way back also, it just that most people don't own a camera phone and social media not so advance.

 

I personally seen many such instances on our trains and buses when I was still taking public transport last time, so it is nothing new and it happen everywhere.

No I've not seen cos couldn't access.

 

Sorry if it doesn't apply here but point I'm trying to make is that I've seen arguments in MRT quite a few times already (maybe not as bad as this one I think) over small matters which I feel is triggered over a hot headed person with stress built up.

This is the colourful life of living in Singapore :D

everyone have a part to make our society, every language and every race ...

I think most of the ppl are just "enjoying" the show, once a while, experience this, will bring some exciting life into the boring MRT standard announcement broadcast :)

Nowadays auntie like bang and push people. Recently there's another video of auntie quarreling with a man. Also due to her banging him with her handbag.

There is something wrong with some of our aunties.

Just 3 weeks ago an auntie bang into me and she went tsk tsk.

I was thinking like what the f? I am just standing here and you walk pass me and bang into me like a clumsy fool and still want to tsk tsk me?

 

Good thing most of us drive here.

actually many of our old folks are like that (dunno how to let go - chinese called 嘴吧不好). it's just that we usually let them be. I remember once at TOTO outlet, my wife's bag accidentally brushed against an uncle. She apologised but the uncle just couldn't stop chiding her.

 

I was behind and finally beh tahan and shouted back .... After a while he diam diam. Sometimes must "tekan" them a bit -_-

Those people will pick targets to vent their anger one. See you a bit soft or weak, they will let go their vocab. The only way is to be fiercer than them. Like that they will diam diam and not do anything.

I think the women deserve it, must have pass some racist remark thinking the guy was a non-singaporean. Aniwae wats the ending, the old uncle jio him go down, never go down ah...

 

Assuming she really hit into the man and then scolded him, I think this type of woman is worse than a whore. If I were in the train or the one who got scolded, I would have given her a piece of my mind as well. But my Chinese definitely not as good as his.

Precisely. Only a stupid fellow would go down. If you win the fight, people will say you bully old man. I rather stand there and use my mouth.

my take is only a remark that was provocative enough would make the indian guy go bersek, maybe....

 

While the indian guy is too colourful with his choice of words, those aunties really need to know when to keep their mouth shut. -_-

Nothing wrong with being fierce. I am Chinese and look very meek.

 

But I assure you that if you take advantage of me or try to bully me, I will f you like no tomorrow.
