Darthrevan Supercharged May 27, 2013 Share May 27, 2013 Incidents of road rage are on the rise in Singapore, with known attacks occurring once every four days last year. Reported cases that resulted in assault rose to 97 last year, up from 84 in 2011 and 63 in 2010. Some of the cases were heard in court in recent months. A businessman was sentenced to one month in jail earlier this month for punching a technician he felt should have given way to him on a street in Jurong East. Penknife 5th Gear May 27, 2013 Share May 27, 2013 why do we always see drivers having road rage? seldom see pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclist having a rage on the road
Friendstar Supercharged May 27, 2013 Share May 27, 2013 Can this be attributed to stressful living in Singapore ? I find myself losing cool at work too I hate myself at times

The_Bear Turbocharged May 27, 2013 Share May 27, 2013 Can this be attributed to stressful living in Singapore ? I find myself losing cool at work too I hate myself at times Not entirely. A lot of incidents happen because of ego. Attitude such as "this is sgp, what can you do?", "i will pwn you." "I am above you" increases the probability of confrontation. Too many yaya papaya people on the street. If you are not certain that if you would be shot like a stray dog on the street for any confrontation and NO ONE CARES. how many will be so yaya? Icedbs Turbocharged May 27, 2013 Share May 27, 2013 Drivers should learn to focus on their objective...and that is to reach their destination safely while ignoring all the reckless or idiotic acts by other drivers. Problem is, most ended up focusing on other drivers' idiotic acts and ignoring their own driving objective.

Sdf5725 1st Gear May 27, 2013 Share May 27, 2013 This proves how stressful to live in Singapore! nothing to deal with the life in Singapore. it is the character of Singaporean getting worse and worse that contribute to the problem. and the photo do not look like it happened in Singapore. Simplecar 4th Gear May 28, 2013 Share May 28, 2013 why do we always see drivers having road rage? seldom see pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclist having a rage on the road They do contribute to driver stress as well.
Simplecar 4th Gear May 28, 2013 Share May 28, 2013 If we have less motor vehicles on the roads, less pedestrians, stress levels will definitely be lowered. I am sure that commuters are also stressed out in trains and buses. This is one of the consequence of economic growth (tied to some people's KPI and pay)

Maxus-MIFA9 Supersonic May 28, 2013 Share May 28, 2013 What to do...... How often you see a police's car patrolling or a TP officer on the road nowadays.... Its more of 'you catch me in photo or radar gun, you summon me lor' .... Even if they are on duty hidding behind bushes or above overhead bridge, 'Radio' traffic watch will announced to avoid speeding along certain stretch of road. So one driver avoid speeding on this stretch but other stretch of roads, vehicles speeding... ↡ Advertisement
