Redboy 1st Gear May 21, 2013 Author Share May 21, 2013 I agree. What you write sound a bit ambitious. haha.... ambitious. but come to think of it, they are not too expensive and are Everton's best players. Felliani and Leighton Baines are highly under-rated players in BPL... Felliani is actually a good catch with his size, tenacity, ability to score goals. IMHO, he is probably the midfield anchorman which Man Utd needs, but they can consider Yaya Toure who seems to be really good in this position as well. Baines is a good crosser of the ball and overlapping player. will be a good replacement for evra. ↡ Advertisement
Redboy 1st Gear May 21, 2013 Author Share May 21, 2013 SAF is still around old trafford, but he is not managing teh team. Moyes is, however, I do not really see Ronaldo coming back will makes much difference, RVP can work best with left foot, upfront, Ronaldo with free-kicks and both feet attacking, it would be double whammy of both can click, not much of an option. Main concerns are midfielders, United needs a " holding midfielder " who can spray passes like Barca Xavi and Inesta, Scholes has retired, after Roy Keane and Eric Cantona, I do not really see a holding midfielder player who can do a good job. Fire-power up front is there, with or w/o Ron will not makes much difference, much wld depends on Moyes 's game plan. buy 2 midfielders better options and 2 left / right backs . and GK Linegaard was not good enough Then RVP can work on left and Ronaldo on the right and Man Utd will be a threat from both sides. why not? firepower will be even be better. I agree on midfield part. need a hardman like Keane. probably Yaya Toure. Time to get a more established GK and keep De Gea as understudy first. If anyone noticed in the game against WBA, the defence seems to be weak and not concentrating in the final moments, so a centreback will be good. If this is possible, it would definitely be ideal for Man Utd as I agree that these are some of the best players at Goodison Park and qualities which the current Red Devils squad needs. However, I am not sure if the club's management (Everton) would allow "poaching" and mass exodus moving from Goodison Park to Old Trafford though I read from the news that David Moyes have not given any undertaking that he will not poach any Everton staff or players. Meanmachine Supercharged May 22, 2013 Share May 22, 2013 Back to d drawing board, Will Ron come back to Utd ? Basically, there are two options. Possibility : As SAF still has an upper hand from management to sway Ron over, his love for Utd was without a shadow of doubt, as Madrid has lost the plot of winning Champion league and Copa del rey Cup to A. MAdrid Outgoing Everton boss has started work @Carrington training ground, making preparation work to be a success as premier league champion, how and why does Ronaldo need to follow suit ? a) To continue the legacy @ Old Trafford winning mentality- Ron may consider moving over, but at his prize and asset, do not really think Bernabeu chairman will let him move over. b) Who will Ron partner upfront ? RVP / Hernandez or Wellback and what about Rooney ( my take is that he will be ship out ) 2 request made fr transfer, what is the point of keeping him if he does not see his future in Utd ? c) Imagine Ronaldo and RVP combination as two lethal strike force, most fearsome duo in Premier league. d) Imagine Rooney is ship out, where can he go? . . . Italy, Spain or Russia. Unlikely destination for a 2nd time father. Can he survive there with his family+2 kids back in north London, unlikely too. e) As for Ron, he is single and eligible with a Russian G/f, so he has more option ot try it out at United again, we shall see how things develop from here, Football is a funny thing and it can happen for many reasons why professional football player change clubs like changing underwear. I like the attitude of David Moyes, his work ethic impress me after a week half of his new appointment.
Damienic 5th Gear May 23, 2013 Share May 23, 2013 I think the ball is in Ron's court, ie whether he wishes to come back. He has only 2 more yrs of contract to go and so far he has not signed any extension. If he continues to sit on it, the Real bosses will panic and be forced to look at selling him as they couldn't possibly let his value plunge further and risk losing him for nothing when contract is becoming closer and closer to expiry. I believed Ronaldo doesn't mind coming back to Man U but it remains to be seen if he views Moyes as the ideal boss to work under. Btw, there are reports that Rooney is close to a move to PSG with the latter willing to pay him a staggering wage of 15mil pounds per annum AFTER tax. Redboy 1st Gear June 9, 2013 Author Share June 9, 2013 (edited) Looking at below report, it seems that Ron is not at all certain on staying with Real Madrid, with stories of him putting his home for sale and indications that he is missing Man Utd etc.... All this could still tilt him back..... clearly, his heart is with Man Utd. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport...no-Ronaldo.html http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport...in-Man-Utd.html Edited June 9, 2013 by Redboy

Meanmachine Supercharged June 9, 2013 Share June 9, 2013 I am thinking positively that SAF are pulling the string from the top management a) To convince Ron to come over to United b) W/o SAF as manager, he can be his boy-scout whispering nothing ... to Ronnie over - he is selling his house in Madrid now, get it signal ! c) When SAF retires, he does not rest on his laurel and I do not need to read up on his doing, I simply knows what SAF is thinking. His last 2 years left, & he has told Madrid he is not considering anther extension, his has the bargaining chips and PSG and Russian clubs are watching intensely, who will blink 1st? Ron will not announce publicly to make his fan angry, he is matured now and he has mellow alot, so he wil wait for his suitor/s to come make an offer, then all hell & fury will start. Will United blink 1st - My guess is only with current verbal offer of 65M plus a player, most unlikely for now !
Meanmachine Supercharged June 9, 2013 Share June 9, 2013 Moyes must do the players strategies, who play where and who replaces one injuries do come in? Not many managers tinker around with the missess, Some only by player whom they think can fit in, or being refer by their agent / scout. MOyes must be shrew and understand individual player abilities and adaption on foreign land. I like to have the notion of having Arsene Wenger's mindset - develop younger, groom then sell, other pick-up the leftover of thy dun shine brightly Rafa B can be a good talker and motivator, he lacks certain criteria/s like mood-swing and adaption H. Rednapp is always a tremendous planner who can shift a player by switching midfield to upfront, excellent listener and believer. B. Rogers, he has to have self-esteem and high gear to make senior player clicks together, some are pretty lost on what to do@Xs. Jose M- another great believer in himself 1st, has fav. players and call himself the ' Special one ', nver lasted more than 3 seasons in any club. Moyes can be interesting, he will learn the ropes left by SAF, by far his work ethic was impressive but he should do more then buying ordinary player, concentrate on mid-fielders who can play with M. Carrick & T. Cleverly, S.Kagawa or P. Jones. The big Qs: How can Ron fit in United fire-power ? NO , he can't as witnessed in R. Madrid, he seems to have an attitude of others players, he try too hard and play winger most time. Rather self-centered and over confident. Yes, He can adapt and learn to be more open on how to dig deep enough for penetration fm centre, he may listen for now on constructive criticism from his manager, but not for long term basis, he seems to be better than others, in short, Ron can fit in well, too well, that some players may be left exhausted trying hard to play along him. Free-kick, corner-kick and penalty-kick, he is the main taker. It is up to Moyes how to fit him in United should he wanted so much to come over ? Can RVP play along hm or juz another pawn, Will Rooney bring back memory in 07-09 era, Can their attacker role be rekindled ? Sponsorship by Nike or Chevolet are two things together, The hot issues is Does Ronaldo want to come over to play his heart out and bring back those glory days ahead ? I scratch hard for an answer, not today not tomorrow, the end result will be at the closing stage, tis saga will be tough.
Nicholas 5th Gear August 13, 2013 Share August 13, 2013 Though Manchester United fans' crowdfunding campaign to raise the money necessary to pay Cristiano Ronaldo's ginormous transfer fee and bring him back to his old club was shut down last month, the fervent desire to see him return has not dissipated. As a result, rumors and scraps of out of context information are melded together and blindly repeated in the hopes that he can be willed back onto the team. Here's the latest proof that Cristiano Ronaldo is definitely returning to Man United, if only in the minds of the forlorn journalists and supporters he left behind. -Prior to Manchester United's 2-0 win against Wigan in the Community Shield, Antonio Valencia decided to relinquish the No. 7 shirt and go back to wearing No. 25. Obviously, he could have only done this because Ronaldo is rejoining the squad and his old number needs to be thoroughly cleaned and made ready for him. -On Monday, Paddy Crerand claimed on MUTV that Ronaldo was spotted in Manchester. This quickly spread to Twitter, where pictures of him at the airport were used to confirm the rumor. Pictures like this one... (Reuters) Nevermind the fact that this picture was taken four years ago in Portugal as he made his way to Madrid. That's not important. All that matters is that prayers are being answered and Ronaldo is going to Manchester. -After returning from a lengthy preseason tour of the United States, Ronaldo and Real Madrid teammates Pepe and Fabio Coentrao were granted permission to join the Portuguese national team a day late ahead of their friendly against the Netherlands on Wednesday. Fenerbahce's Bruno Alves, who played in the Turkish Super Cup the day before, was also given permission to arrive a day late. This can only mean that Man United are signing all four players with the help of the Portuguese football federation. This goes all the way to the top. -FIFA organized this international date just before the start of the season (and the end of the transfer window) specifically to give Ronaldo a chance to sneak off and finalize the deal. Few people know this, but Ronaldo and FIFA president Sepp Blatter play online poker together every Thursday night. -In June, Ronaldo put his Madrid house up for sale. The buyer? GARETH BALE. -Sergio Ramos dyed his hair blond specifically to drive Cristiano Ronaldo out of the club. Ronaldo always said that if Ramos did that or if Iker Casillas ever bought a cat, he would leave. -Manchester United manager David Moyes publicly went after Cesc Fabregas, a player he knew he could not sign, as a diversion for the top secret Ronaldo negotiations. Meanwhile, the only thing keeping Real Madrid from giving Spurs

dooney Neutral Newbie February 18, 2014 Share February 18, 2014 (edited) I think the possibility is very low. Ronaldo is now a popular star. He brought to the club is unlimited income. Real Madrid is not going to trade him out. Real Madrid http://www.wysjg.com/real-madrid-c-1_55/ . Now they must depend on him to make progress together.
