To downing's credit, he has improved during the season and got into the 1st team. However, he and all fans still have to revisit the question how long more can he stay and also how much he can reinvent his play to fit in. He's still not clever and tactical enough at the moment. Almost a one trick player who uses pace to create some space to whip in crosses. ..

 

Agree. Downing is probably back to his best, the Downing which prompted KD to splash for him. However, I believe BR is keeping him there not just because of his form but rather, there isn't a better option available.

 

Also, at his age, if there is a decent offer coming in, we will offload.

To see whether Downing is good for the whole match is to watch when he took the first corner kick .... [sly]

 

I observed that when his first corner kick fall short reaching the middle of the goal mouth, he is having a bad day .... [sweatdrop]

I foresee a busy summer for Liverpool.

 

Jonjo could be gone too if West Ham can meet our asking price.

 

Still the keeper position to sort out if Barcelona comes calling. Will know once Valdes completes his move to Monaco.

I would say he at least worked his socks off when selected. Covering the full backs very well. Just that his magic appears not that frequently for fans' liking. Some of his goals last season do make me go WOW. :D

Hope BR continues his shrewd buys in the mkt. The last 2 buys in coutinho and sturridge showed that he can eke out bargains. Next season is critical for his own survival at anfield hot seat. Hope he pulls it off by driving pool back to ucl!

Still feel for skrtel. He was our best cb 2 seasons ago... I wish he can stay on another season to try fitting in. Rather let go coates.. personal view.
