Songsong 1st Gear May 20, 2013 Author Share May 20, 2013 Sat late night at about 11++ pm tyre puncture along TPE, stopped wanted to change tyre at road shoulder, but was dark my wife said drive on to punggol petrol shell petrol stn. So change to spare tire at petrol stn took about 1hr,. reached home damn tired. Sunday afternoon about 12++ search net, thinking of changing on mon but the thought of riding my bike to wrok was sian these few days always rain. So try my luck with goodyear sg website. Then called this company at serangoon north called arrow. They are opened on sun till 4pm asked how much for the tyre before moving down, the guy said $240. i was think wah so cheap ah cause my good year aysm 1 3 years ago already about $1200++. So damn happy dont have to ride bike. So rush down i asked them got cheaper tyre or not as i don't drive fast nowadays. They intro me Radar same specs for $160 but my wife don't want. So choose F1 A2 change 4 for $960 nett free every 10k rotation + balancing. I remember when i change my previous tyre the car will bend to one side. but this time never run to any side so i think the balancing quite good. Job done within 20mins. And when payment time, i say to my wife i never asked them $960 include GST or not? Sure kanna smoke one, she say what to do, today sunday kanna smaoke also lan lan, many shop like to play this pattern. These people damn hornest and striaght forward, never hard sell never smoke me, so i change 4 tyre actually wanted only 2. Can intro me cheaper tyre some more, no extra friendly pattern, no hard sell, say up to me. i like this kind of shop, go in ask for what i want get what i want. So yesterday after come back ask in this forum whether price i paid ok or not +- $10 i nevermind. Maybe 18" goodyear now under $200. On the tyre says MADE IN GERMANY. Arrow at serangoon nth ave 4 you all go google for add.

Tyrequeen 1st Gear February 18, 2014 Share February 18, 2014 (edited) $240 for goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric 2 225/40/18 reasonable or not? Hi Songsong, That is s a nice choice of tyre model. Have read your posts and glad you had a good experience at the other Tyreshop, the price you got is good too. If it previously bends to one side when driving, it usually needs balancing or alignment. In your case, now with new tyres and it doesn't bend to one side, it should be balancing. Congrats, yes, the balancing is done well this time :) FYI, you can check out the price for TyreQueen 225/40 R18 Good year EAGLE F1 ASYMMETRIC 2 here For the size 225/40 R18, you can also have a look at our 30+ models here : TyreQueen 225/40 R18 Range Price range starts from about a low hundred plus Though you have changed your tyres, hope that this can be a guide for you in future too.
