i am very sure sony doesnt have a region free BD player... if u want to get one, your best option will be those MIC player...these are typically region free

no la, blu ray player of cos, who buys dvd player these days ? and yes, i also meant pirated blu ray disc. they are a dime a dozen in jb. you will be surprised the quality is about as good as the originals. if you ver go vietnam, they cost SGD$1.5 each !

I am typing this using my xperia z while swimming so I try to keep it brief. The immigration seen my pirated disc several times but they didn't care less. Cause the rationale is I won't know if it is original or not anyway. But cannot be porn cos whether original or pirated it is illegal.

Bluray only seperated into 3 regions.

 

Singapore's region is same as the rest of asia, plus Japan and USA.

IMO no point trying to get region free. Unless of course, you go to Europe often to get movies there, but they are more expensive than US' isn't it?

Get caught they will help you sent it to censorship board. After that they will notify you to go collect back your disc. I think there's a small fee. Unless porn lah, dan it's jialat.

And your rationale is wrong, all discs have to go through mda for screening regardless pirated or not...
