Hey all,

Just wanna ask what's the experience like on their Elite Class?? Are the food served slightly better than normal Economy Class, and is the Elite Class always fully booked??

How's EVA Air's IFE? I understand some seats have the IFE box under the seats right?

Looking to fly with them to LAX.

Its only premium economy....not sure why they termed as ELITE....

Experience wise what do you expect? Slighter better food and a little more legspace than economy. End up not too much difference. Pay more and upgrade to business class la..

The elite class (used to be called Evergreen class) airfares vs Business airfares.

Thats a whole of differences. About S$4000 to S$5000 extra (per person) when I enquire last month from Singapore to USA.

Economy EVA Airways: $1.6k-$1.8k

Premium Economy EVA Airways: $2.3k-$2.6k

Royal Laurel Business Class EVA Airways: $6.8k onwards....

I'm paying for my own flight. So far I've flown with SIA and Korean Air. Would wanna try Premium Economy. Cathay Pacific also has Premium Economy, but they have much fewer seats, and it costs at least S$3.3k onwards.

Not going for mileage programme, however, I understand EVA Air will be joining Star Alliance end of the month / early June.

EVA air.. travelled once with them, they are pretty good and the in-flight entertainment is pretty fantastic. Watched a couple of movies from Singapore to Taiwan. But to USA is about 18 hours so yea try to be as comfortable because the seats are so so and if you are big sized then well done... However i would recommend taking Delta for the flights... quite comfortable i heard... If you want to go to USA

No leh. Delta Airlines' as with most US International carriers Economy Class is 31-32"!!! Need to pay extra for Premium Economy (Just added legroom nia, and no early check-in or better services). Haha.

Yeap, it is a long flight to USA. Was on Korean Air's Economy Class for 6hrs + 1.5hrs layover + 10 to 11hrs to my destination airport. Really no joke!!!

That's why next time I wanna try Premium Economy. Business Class is a bit too far fetched for me right now.

I am contemplating this too if i were to fly to the US. I don't think i can survive 18 hrs on economy class so premium economy is the next better alternative. Any other airlines got premium eco? Last time SIA got but they kay-kiang convert it to all-business class -_-

Cathay Pacific, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, as with most major International American Carriers, will have the option to upgrade to Premium Economy at a 'small fee'.

The worst part of US airlines is their customer service. Very cut-throat. If going us its either ANA/SQ/Emirates for me.
