Yup. Greedy for sure. The COE last round went up n so they justify it that way. Then just last week they reduced their rebate to 45k/48k. Why? To earn fatter margin if next week's COE drop to 50k.

From what they have done it is very clear that they expect the Cat A / B to drop to 48k above. I think shd be ard 52-55k.

Oh if I recall correctly it's 60k rebate level for VW and Nissan (standard package). Not sure about the other car brands.

Was at Komoco yesterday and the SE mentioned that there are still backlogs for 80%/90% loan to be cleared.

Depends on which rebate level the orders were based on. I believe it's the 40k ones.

Rebate drop by 7k to 45K is to entice ppl to book. Selling price up 4K means COE demand still strong and COE premuim not likely to drop much from previous round.

Komoco is Hyundai's AD? I thought the i30 is really cute but too bad it's too expensive.

Yup, Komoco Motors is the AD for Hyundai.

Hyundai i30 makes a nice hot hatch if it comes with a turbocharged engine :)

Wow... So beautiful. Anyway, unlike you guys, I like cars which are not powerful. The smaller the engine capacity, the better for me (of course still have to be above 1.2L for decent movement). :D

Well it depends on the proportion of those orders having 45k rebate level n 52k rebate level. COE bidding doesn't mean highest bidder wins.
