Did anyone suggest East Ocean at Ngee Ann?

Of course, I am open to trying what others recommend from around that price range.

I've never tried the dimsum before.

But my parents eaten there for CNY gatherings, they aren't really impressed. So we've never went.

Is Asia grand the one at bras besar? Opposite raffles hotel? If so, then the dim sum is so so. Still find the best dim sum at imperial treasure. Standards pretty good after all these years. I'm fussy about dim sum. Rather pay more and eat it once in a while than to go cheaper and get sucky ones. I don't bother with sub standard ones like red star and swee Choon. Yes it's cheaper but also you get what you pay for. And the price difference isn't that great now.

rather save the difference for the better meal.

Try

Bras basah one.

Oh yah intercontinental its nice

Imperial treasure indeed nice. But i have yet to try the one in mbs. Only tried in jem. Avoid sweechoon or red star, its one of the worst dim sum. Even dim sum of ex-prisoner in people park taste better.

yup, stop going to Red Star already. weekday dim sum selection limited, not full offering like weekend.

and the pricing not exactly value proposition to me.

In this year, I've ate at Imperial Treasure GWC, twice at Peach Garden.

I have to say that Peach Garden has better dimsum, especially the one at OCBC tower.

But i agree that IT the dishes are better eg. their porridge is nice.

I personally prefer Royal China. but they didn't have dimsum for CNY.
