well, the rising tide raises all boats. all things equal, robust economy raises wages and bonuses. including theirs! is

 

however, wages not everything. inflation is the killer now as wages cannot keep up

yes, depends on sector or industry. some win some lose.

 

whether those who win are more than lose is important very tricky balance.

The question is not if Economy growth helps increase wage, but where is growth of the economy, & who doe it benefit.

 

You can have big GDP, but it could means the rich become richer, but the poor can still remain poor, or poorer, due to inflation.

Well, what else to say? Things are falling apart... Nothing to justify their success, their once PROUD product of Privatization had fallen flat on their face.

 

Even SMRT and SBS are using cheap labour and keep saying no Singaporean want to take the job, well our FTs (PRCs) had spoken, they were paid peanuts and treated like monkeys...

 

So Singaporeans chose not to be Monkey and being paid peanuts and we are WRONG? Growing economy translate to GDP growth?

 

If yes, years after years of GDP growth and are we seeing BOOSTED wages?

 

Inflation offset Boosted wages so what had been done to curb inflation?
