Android DVD receiver

Hi all,

 

Anyone using those Android DVD receiver? can share your experience?

Saw them during tokyo auto salon.

 

First impression was "why so expensive", more expensive than top of the line pioneer HU.

Second impression was "what is with the out dated os", most of them running android 2.2

 

Also connectivity is very limited and not very flexible as you would expect from an open platform.

 

It is still too early for mass consumption.

i am also looking at them just for the fun of it.

Was in M'sia over the past week and saw that the workshops there have more of these Andriod devices on display.

Price wise, i cannot compare, as i hardly see any of these andriod HU being sold in shops. I could be wrong as i have not visited many workshops for ICE.

how much were the workshop selling and where was this in JB?

actually there are quite a number available but the problem is which one is good
