I think rent in hk more ex than sg.

 

Prime retail, yes but they come with much higher traffic and volume, I read somewhere rent here per dollar of sales is higher than Hong Kong.

 

I was also surprised to know from the above report that rent are 40% higher than his most expensive outlet in HK.

haha bro in my 30+ years living haven eaten a meal that coz more than $100, summore is atas tze char only.

 

Maybe pay in Ringgit have before lah. :D

Thats cos you don't do a job where you have to entertain.

 

Then you really have to take people to nice restaurants.

 

Not only nice restaurants but sleezy health centres

 

and live entertainment karaoke.

 

Its a terrible way to earn a living but someone has to do it.

Not revealed but I supposed it is the central branch, located on HK island at IFC mall. The rest are at Mongkok, North Point and Sham Shui Po. Plaza Singapore is hardly our prime prime retail location based on where you are leading us to.... :D

Along orchard and marina bay is one of most ex to rent

maybe in hk around ifc mall and tst is one of most ex in hk

The kopitiams also not getting cheap..just ordered a plate of fried rice..from 3.5 now increase prices to 3.8..nearly a 10% jump. And they just jumped from $3 to 3.5 not too long ago..

 

And they employ all malaysians..costs got shoot up so high as to merit the 10% jump? Costs of living sucks here man.. [knife]..did our salary jump 10%?

Where is his most ex outlet in hk?

 

shd be the one at IFC....that is the newest outlet... went there last month...bloody hell, I went at 130pm, finally got a seat at 3pm. Jesus, 1.5 hours of waiting. The BBQ bun is seriously good but the rest is just pretty normal.

Bottomline is, there are restaurants which are freaking expensive, not because of the food, but because of the total ambience and experience.

 

people here who says it is not worth the money is because they are just looking at the food.

 

if ambience. comfort, impression and experience is not important to you, then sure, go for somewhere cheaper. It also doesn't mean people who are willing to pay for those are daft.

 

Similarly, people who buy luxury cars are going for the experience, comfort and impression....not just simply to bring him from Point A to B.

I think as long as price is listed, then its not a problem. For sure I will not pay such price, but if other are willing to pay, then its their business.

 

Also, to TS, either you are tricked by the close up profile picture of the facebook poser, or you have very lenient standard for chioness. [:p]

Ask ur self a question, how many percent does the property shoot up for past 4 years? Thats the answer. All rent up.

After having my wonderful dinner, I pick up the tab and walk to the cashier.

There was an old man giving hell to the cashier… then I happened to overheard that he was over charged by a few dollars and the waiter did not tell him the exact price upon this order.. I kind of got irritated and as the cashier to serve me first… Eventually, I paid my bill and walk off.

 

After some shopping and jalan jalan, I walk to the carpark…

Oops, bump into the old man again with his family I guess !!!

Wow, he is driving a BMW… I think the model could be 740 series (hope I am not wrong bcos the BMW is really big, not the normal size) and the carplate is starts with SKG…

 

Then suddenly the thought came to my mind (Some rich pples are definitely more calculate in terms of dollars and cents) :o

Guess that's how they got rich. [laugh] Accumulate many littles become more.
