I'm getting poor radio reception on my Honda Stream.

I've tried to ask around in the Honda Stream forum, but seems like no one is willing to help (can't be no one has this problem right).

No choice have to ask it here now.

Anyone has fixed this issue please help. Thanks!

same problem too with my fiat Fiorino - CD no problem - tried to ask audio shop when installing amp if can improve reception - the guy tried with antennae (my present one is like two green things sticking out near the rear view mirror) and sort of like built in; but did not improve at his workshop so did not bother further

I've noticed this in a few different cars lately. I stopped using any form of radio in the car though. I just plug in the iPod or iPhone and listen to my own playlist or internet radio, which seems to make things a whole lot better.

yes this another option.

learned from an installer a green cable of hu set of cables to be separated from the rest of colors for several inches to prevent interference, how true is it? although it is evident in my current ride.

It could be due to signal interference with the metallized layer in the solar film

simply open all the windows while driving and try again

my pioneer also the same and its been like this for the past months plus, i think.

i asked mechanic he said its satellite problem or something like this as lot of ppl complaining when i told him to change antenna on car, so i left it. sometimes reception is good and most of the time buzzz grrrr ....

wasn't like this in april tho ...

don't think its the solar film. maybe lots of electromagnetic interference.

Japanese car marker dun normally pay alot of attention on the antenna system for car. Only the conti makes conduct details development , testing on car antenna especially those multiband antenna that support radio, gsm and gps.

Must conti make have either intergrated glass antenna or rooftop active antenna...

Not sure if anyone of you having bad connection has installed an in-camera that is connected to the lighter socket...

I did and thus i had battled with buzzzzzzzzzzing and poor reception problem for a year until i recently sent my car to AD and they fount out its the car camera charger or somethiNg that cause the distortion cos i was on the verge of changing the whole set of wires etc after installiNg and buying a few aftermarket and in-car anteenas...

when i totally disconnect the charger and turn off the camera the radio suddenly ok le... hehehe wasted quite a fair bit of money though  [:/]

nonetheless glad to have solved it... hope this helps :)

Mine was intermitten, most of the time it's ok. Went to a audio shop but the guy say not likely the antenna problem so I didn't change it.
