One year to get degree is a bit bogus. [grin]

What most institutes are practising is.........

diploma + degree = 3 years.

or advance diploma + degree = 3 years.

But it must be at the same school.

Im doing one now............10 months adv dip + 20 mths deg.

2 certification in 3 years. ^_^

If you do not find job in govt companies, doesnt matter whether the degree is recognised or not. Cause private companies dont really emphasis or very particular on where you obtain your degree. Most of the time is how you perform during the interview, your work experience and skills.

I have more respect for uk poly convert into 3rd class uni

than bogus degrees from china or india except for the Institute of technologies.

I also have more respect for Singapore poly diplomas than those bogus uni degree.

The reason the UK poly change to be university is people's sheer ignorance of how

good a diploma can be.

If purpose is to get a paper, go ahead. If want to be a financially competent person with path to proper professional job, ACCA or CIMA is the route to go.
