Sim Lim sq. 2nd floor.

$298 for 1 camera with night vision, 1 normal camera and 1 DVR with 500GB hard disk.

The DVR can hook up to 4 cameras.

Analog. Will need to run long cables.

I just installed at my home.

The shop also sells Curtis cisco brand DVR.

Your $298 package for one camera and 1 DVR include installation? Does it hooked you up for real-time internet monitoring?

i'm using this... IP Web cam

IR, wired/wireless, home and internet viewing is also possible.

you can control it from your pc or handphone, turn the angle, directions and some more record video and take pictures [thumbsup]

the provided software also allows you to view multiple cams (if you bought them) at the same time.

however you need to be a bit tech savvy to set it up. the manual is like

They only configure the DVR to start recording when you connect a camera.

Installation by ourselves. Cables provided, 20m x 2.

Yes, the DVR has a LAN port. We can connect the LAN port to our switch and assign an IP address.

Then, can use IE or iPhone to see.

From Internet, provided we know how to configure your gateway, securedly.

Good thing about ip cam is easy to set up. Just need a power supply and we can install at any corner.

But... if needs recording, must keep the PC ON.

And, it eats up the HDD very fast. Needs to do housekeeping weekly.

Also, the wifi connection is not 100% reliable.

Ok, there are NAS that allows the IP cam to store video without PC. But the NAS itself cost $400 without HDD.

Mustafa. I think ard 5 bucks with flashing red LED. [laugh]

Yes, got mine from Mustafa. It's on the 3rd level next to the car accessories section. Cost $4.50 for one.

As a tip, do not activate the flashing LED light. It's a dead give away that the CCTV is a fake. I'm using it to complement my ADT home protection system + 2 dogs. :D :D
