Rezorn86 3rd Gear April 20, 2013 Share April 20, 2013 My car just turned 3 years this month. Not sure if i should continue with C&C or try other workshop for servicing. Any recommendations? Thanks. If outside u got a reliable pple to do it for u it will be better. Btw u stay in Bukit Panjang, Woodland, Teck Whye or CCK area? If so, I can recommend a wkshop for u? I-love-singapore April 20, 2013 Share April 20, 2013 u buy cheap oil in hypermarket, $30 oil filter from hard ware shop $5 servicing $20 total $55 only. any workshop also can go lah. all b&b cars r the same, jack up, remove oil filter, let oil leak than put new filter n top up oil at engine bay. Leijasper 1st Gear April 20, 2013 Share April 20, 2013 (edited) I work in Woodlands area. Appreciate if you can recommend me. thank you bery much! Blk 19 sin Ming industrial estate sector A #01-01 look for Peter.. His a nice guy.. Btw if u know which parts u wanna change, u can buy ur own parts n he juz charge u for labour.. If unsure, u can juz head down n seek his advice.. Pretty honest man.. No spoil, won't ask u change n not pushy for sure.. Price cheapest or not, I can't say as I always request to used only Honda original parts.. But reasonable n honest for sure Edited April 20, 2013 by Leijasper
Joycechua Neutral Newbie April 20, 2013 Author Share April 20, 2013 you mean the outside workshop won't take care of all things? P.S. I like your sign-off - co driver needs to slap the driver

Icedbs Turbocharged April 20, 2013 Share April 20, 2013 (edited) My car just turned 3 years this month. Not sure if i should continue with C&C or try other workshop for servicing. Any recommendations? Thanks. To me, any servicing related to the engine should preferably done by the agent. Afterall, they have the right diagnostic machine and the right tools for those servicing. I only go to outside worksops for cosmetic repairs, changing of brakepads, changing of tyres, air-cons etc...... Yes, the agent is more expensive, but they give me a peace of mind when comes to engine related stuff. For my last 3 cars, all of them were in great condition, even though I drive up to about 7 years for each of them and abt 40km each day. Jamesc Hypersonic April 20, 2013 Share April 20, 2013 (edited) After the first 3 free service which I brought my own oil n filter n never paid a cent I have never gone back to the dealer. The thousands I saved from dealer servicing, I can pay to fix any defects which after 6 years there is none. However I must say I drive a korean car which I found to be very reliable. I dont know if Japanese cars are as reliable so maybe better to stick to dealer servicing? Edited April 20, 2013 by Jamesc
Deckbuild 6th Gear April 20, 2013 Share April 20, 2013 (edited) The amount you spend servicing at AD compare to outside can save you enough to change major parts! Edited April 20, 2013 by Deckbuild
