Caravan 5th Gear April 19, 2013 Share April 19, 2013 If the GPS system is down, I'm pretty sure you won't be the only person making noise. You already said in the open static is ok. Must be your setup problem.
Watwheels Supersonic April 19, 2013 Share April 19, 2013 It could be tall buildings blocking the signal. Sgp a lot of high rise building. If you go places like Shenton way your GPS navigation will experience loss of signal.

Simplecar 4th Gear April 19, 2013 Share April 19, 2013 was thinking of that but i guess it would be consistent whether we are in tuas or changi. Looks like some form of electrical interference. Even buildings can cause GPS signals to be distorted - my GPS watch always display wrong values at certain areas in CBD (tall buildings)
Tianmo Hypersonic April 19, 2013 Share April 19, 2013 I always lost signal when in carpark........CTE tunnel also............ [laugh]
Chucky2007 Turbocharged April 19, 2013 Share April 19, 2013 Yup, just installed a car cam.... how did that affect the GPS signal ? can someone enlighten me and the workaround ? thanks thanks U troubleshoot by switching off the car cam see if GPS signal is able to log on. If yes, then the only way is to shift your GPS to the right side near the door, especially of currently its placed below your car cam, or remove car cam or switch off car can if die die wants to use GPS. I got same issue before.
