btw, The "S" in front of your NRIC does not stand for "Singapore". S is the 19th ahlpabet so you are born in the 19xx. Now all "T" already.

It might be a coincidence. Last time people never quoted the S in front of their IC numbers. When year 2000 came, they realised the IC numbers will repeat, hence they advanced it to T.
