Tire Pressure - DIY at Petrol Stations

What is the process to check and fill up the tire pressure here in Singapore?

 

Do they have a pressure gauge whereby you can measure the pressure before filling up?

 

Could the attendant helps you to fill up the Tire Pressure?

 

Which location in the Petrol Station are the pressure gauges usually located?

Almost all petrol stations have the DIY pump but some are still using the non-digital one.

The digital one will show the current pressure once you plug in and start to pump or deflate to the set pressure.

 

Most important before pumping must look out for aunties trying to DIY pump. Unless you are prepared to help her else wait till she's gone then approach.

And these air pumping stations are usually near the exits or at the back. I am sure if asked, the pump attendants would help

Yes it is automatic once you set the required pressure. I haven't seen any attendant pumping for customers since the good old days where the pump is right next to the petrol pump. Nowadays tyre pumps are located either at the edge of the station or at the center near the driveway. So I don't think attendants will help. You could ask though.

Without knowing who TS is can we for a moment think that the question is a genuine one that TS needs help on?

Not saying TS is but what if TS has some difficulty in doing it himself due to some circumstances? Or if this is the first time ever he is driving he may really be lost?
