Tonicwater Neutral Newbie August 18, 2011 Share August 18, 2011 If the Touch n Go card expired, can i get the balance amount back? I "recovered" the amount in the card by going to the TnG customer service center. But the center I visited is at KL Sentral. The CS rep did mention to me about needing to use at least once a year to keep the card alive. Once it passes one year, it is "blacklisted" (more like deactivated) and requires reactivation/card swap. ↡ Advertisement

Luckcent 4th Gear April 15, 2013 Share April 15, 2013 Here in SG...no top up....Just go to Malaysia and top up when you see the sign Tambah Nilai counter or lane.
Ooosh 1st Gear April 15, 2013 Share April 15, 2013 if you go by Woodlands, once approaching malaysian customs, keep to the left most lane and go straight, the top up counter is at the last immigration counter. if going by Tuas, after malayian customs, go straight to toll and keep to left most lane where the buses and trucks will be. That where the top up counter is. If in both cases you missed both counter to top up and there is no money in your card, there is no other choice but to stop your car and walk to the top up counter to top up yr card. Fitvip Supersonic April 15, 2013 Share April 15, 2013 Please note that if the card is not used for one year, it becomes invalid. You can go to the office to claim back the balance minus a ser vice charge of RM5.00 and need to buy a new card. The balance amount will be credited into the new card!
