I ever say sampans along the canals along Hougang Avenue7, leading into Serangoon River. You may want to find out where these sampan owner parked their boat. Could be free parking.

Ah. I know as right of way. Who need to give way to who.

 

Ya lights n bouys shapes n colours. Aiyah sea so big. So much easier than driving.

 

Most important know where got underwater obstructions. U hit something under e surface u die. Hahaha.

 

Thats why i prefer wooden hull. Much stronger than fiberglass.

 

At night cant see 5hit 30' in front. Hahaha.

 

Try yacht racing up the Malacca Straits at night then! Crazy having to look out for all the fishing nets as you don't want them caught up in your keel. Plus all the crap in the water too.

Thatz PUB cleaning contractor. They load from lorry wif crane. Seen them cleaning at Sim Lim Tower there.

Imagine u hit a small sampan fisherman without proper lights.

 

U might not even know u hit him. [:/]

 

i heard of small fishing dinghys being hit at night. Small chance of survival. Many die like that.

Ya sure. U navy got starlight scope.

 

How many fishing boats can afford that. Yr eyesight need to b damm good at night. Cockpit in total darkness so can see out better.

 

I damm scared of hitting submerged reef. Came close a few times. :wacko:

U slowly start by looking at sampan.....then ask abt seaswirl......then boston whaler........ n finally end up buying a grand banks.
