Kiadaw 6th Gear March 29, 2013 Share March 29, 2013 (edited) I need a humidifer, the huminity in my home is around 37%, less than the recommended 40-50% skins are peeling on the legs & arms. I have to apply moisturier before I get to back, to protect my face. I am guessing being warm & humid can be very bad, & result in waking up in sweat ( I should know). But didn't most people have air con at home. If so, wouldn't the humidity be quite low (or too low) already? Edited March 29, 2013 by Kiadaw
Happily1986 5th Gear March 30, 2013 Share March 30, 2013 anyone uses dehumidifier at home? how well does it work? any brand/model tp share thanks Technically, an air conditioner dehumidifies as well and it can also cool (obviously). so do ckmpare the prices and deliberate your purchase prudently. GoodCar 4th Gear March 30, 2013 Share March 30, 2013 Just keep the aircon between 24 to 25' it will be very comfortable in Singapore Weather condition. Set too low temperature waste energy and too dry, too much temperature between indoor and outdoor is also bad for health Ideal humidity is between 40 to 60%
Kiadaw 6th Gear March 30, 2013 Share March 30, 2013 (edited) you have a happy problem..i would rather have low humidity..but then again the grass is always greener on the other side I refer cool, but humidity a little higher, but within normal range. I have condition (not sure what it is called) that makes may hands & foot very dry. The back of my foot tends to crack often & bleed when I was a kid, (it was still dry & cracking today, just without the bleeding) doesn't help by the hard canvas shoe I needed to wear back then. I have a rule to never wera a think unpad shoe so those fashionable canvas shoes are out for me. When it is too dry, even my fingers crack & split open, bleeding. This year in Germany, it is rather bad, its near April already, & still sub zero in the night, & very dry. Anyway, I think I will go to the shopping mall to look for a portable humidifier, and see if I can find a good one. I think its important no matter where you live, to have a optimum humidity & temperature. I find around 21-22 deg C & about 50% humidity about nice for me.
