Simplecar 4th Gear March 22, 2013 Share March 22, 2013 Mine 32GB also not enough for a day recording. Waiting for my 64GB card and it is not cheap ! it will depend on how long you are away from your vehicle. I would need one that can do at least 12 hours recording at Full HD resolution at lowest compression ratio (best possible for my in car cam). So far my 16GB SDHC can do about 7 hours of recording (IIRC). That means I should be able to do 14 hours with a 32GB. YYMV

Ghostrider 3rd Gear March 22, 2013 Share March 22, 2013 Even cheapo China brands bought from Gmarket also can record after the car has stopped. Usually the term they use is "Surveillance Mode". To conserve battery, some can put it to sensor recording...ie when there is movement infront of the cam, then it will start to record. I am using this cam http://list.qoo10.sg/item/RODIS-NEW-ARRIVA...-FULL/407008373 But mine is the dual lens...aka one for the front and one to shoot behind. Ghostrider 3rd Gear March 22, 2013 Share March 22, 2013 She drove w/o turning on her headlights Why I also dunno...usually I will turn on my lights even in the day if light is poor...night time no need to say..sure turn it on one. Initially I tot driver might have misjudge cos low light hence crash into the car...but after viewing...I think its the classic case of stepping on the accelerator than the brakes....and worst is...why she almost bang on it again seconds later...
