Got car cam recording the whole process?

If yes don't need to talk so much to the fella just submit the footage let insurance settle.

But if not then its your friend father's word against the other party and how well you describe/draw liao... [:/]

Mine 32GB also not enough for a day recording. Waiting for my 64GB card and it is not cheap !

it will depend on how long you are away from your vehicle. I would need one that can do at least 12 hours recording at Full HD resolution at lowest compression ratio (best possible for my in car cam).

So far my 16GB SDHC can do about 7 hours of recording (IIRC). That means I should be able to do 14 hours with a 32GB. YYMV

Make sure you check your cam's specs before getting anything more than 32GB which seems to be the max for most cams.

My dvr custom firmware recording at 12mbps. Each file per min about 80-100mb. Damn big but the video quality is good.

Even cheapo China brands bought from Gmarket also can record after the car has stopped.

Usually the term they use is "Surveillance Mode". To conserve battery, some can put it to sensor recording...ie when there is movement infront of the cam, then it will start to record. I am using this cam

But mine is the dual lens...aka one for the front and one to shoot behind.

She drove w/o turning on her headlights

Why I also dunno...usually I will turn on my lights even in the day if light is poor...night time no need to say..sure turn it on one.

Initially I tot driver might have misjudge cos low light hence crash into the car...but after viewing...I think its the classic case of stepping on the accelerator than the brakes....and worst is...why she almost bang on it again seconds later...

ADRIAN, INCOME OPPORTUNITY!!!! [laugh] [laugh]

Seems quite a few folks still don't know much about dashcams so why not you conduct lessons to earn some $$$?

If you need assistants, yours truly is available for a very, very modest nominal fee.... [wave]
