It is like free one year trial. Then you pay yearly subscription android more smelly than apple who charge 1 time transaction. The new interface the send button look so fancy.

One time subscription payment like Apple is ok but just because i'm using Android and they want to charge me yearly subscription is simply discrimination, will never pay for it and will rather switch to some other IM apps.

I heard just register with a new acct to bypass the system. Anyway iphone is a play phone and android is a work phone fOr me. Pretty new to android any good apPs to intro. Thank

Sometimes u have to consider also whether the IM program is widely used by majority.. No point switch to a new IM but 80% of your friends still on whatsapp..

 

I tink this cost of changing will make many pple just pay the 99 cent fee per yr.

 

I have been using for 2 yrs also, never got charged.

Me too. My license says lifetime leh. Will take a pic and post later.

 

But I first paid for whatsapp when I was using the 3GS and used the Apple App Store to download.

 

Subsequently I switched to Android, downloaded it free from play store, using the same mobile number and never got charged since then. Since August 2010.

and i heard that if u want to get lifetime, u need to get the app on iphone first with your current number.. then get from android market

whatsapp is great.

after 20-30mins usage, i think it's better than the old one.

 

mine also iphone port over to android.

Never an iphone owner and has been using it don't know for how many years already and change many phone but still free so far.. [:p]

i have been using for 2 yrs on android...never get charged...

 

same here...my last Iphone is 3GS...since then...all andriod and using Whatsapp...never once kana charge before ler..

Under settings > account > payment info, there is a expiration date on my wats app which is till this June. Dunno what will happen after that... cannot use anymore unless I pay?

On the issue of whatsapp, is there anyway that i can have the same whatsapp no. on two phones (1 andriod n 1 Iphone) as my cnnt..

Cannot...only one no. on one device. Even u have 2 sim card the system won't allow
